WELCOME TO MY ɅRT WORLD
ARTIST PHILOSOPHY
My work exists at the intersection of expressionism, materiality and sustainability.
Through painting and sculpture, I transform natural and reclaimed materials into visual narratives that explore freedom, imagination, transformation and the human relationship with the world around us. Posidonia, earth, ash, reclaimed wood, cork, coffee and other organic elements are not simply materials; they are carriers of memory, time and experience.
My artistic practice is rooted in materism, where the material itself becomes part of the message. Every texture, crack, fragment and surface tells a story. Rather than concealing the origin of a material, I seek to reveal its identity and allow it to speak through a new language of form, colour and composition.
The wood used in the Lignigami series comes from trees that had reached the end of their natural life cycle. By transforming this material into sculpture, I do not attempt to interrupt nature’s evolution, but to extend its story through a new form of existence. The same philosophy guides my paintings, where natural and reclaimed materials become worlds of their own.
At the centre of my work lies a dialogue between painting and sculpture, geometry and emotion, architecture and nature. Through this dialogue, I explore concepts of happiness, inner freedom, abundance and the endless human desire to grow, imagine and evolve.

(La Habana, 1984)
I was very little when all began watching my father painting. He was my first mentor, my guide. He gave me the tools to observe and express my ideas in a blank canvas .. watching him creating his paintings with so much pasion, respect gave me the encouraged and showded me a new whole universe, so I desided to transformed my room into a sort of laboratory where only my ideas, feelings, and reflections could enter, it became my temple, my peace. I fell in love with the Abstract, Expressionism and modern art. Each creative process took me further into this unknown and mysterious world.
